April 17th - 3 'major' fights to choose from

It is bad enough that Hopkins decided to fight RJJ after all that has happened. But to choose April 17th as the date? WTF?
Now we potentially have three fights to watch all at the same time:

PPV: Bernard Hopkins vs Roy Jones JR
Showtime: Andre Ward vs Sakio Bika/Allen Green
HBO: Lucian Bute vs UNKNOWN (looking like Miranda)

Does Hopkins really think people are going to buy this fight, especially with the competition on the same night??!?!

Easy choice (the Ward fight). As much as I'm looking forward to seeing Hopkins finally whoop Jones' ass it'll have to wait until the next morning when I download it, because I'm not gonna place it above a proper, competetive match-up.

If HBO picks this up they will have to put Bute on another date.

Bika vs. Green will be excellent. Also great will be Bute vs. Miranda. The only real choice of that list, however, though Hopkins is the P4P best fighter, is Ward vs. Bika/Green. The division is being cleared out for a mega clash between Bute and Arthur Abraham (perhaps Ward can pull off an upset, but I doubt it).
