Floyd doesn't have to fight a bigger guy because Pacquiao is. Who cares what Pacquiao does? Floyd doesn't have to compete with Pacquiao until they get in ring. If Pacquiao beats all these bigger guys good for him only better for Floyd when he beats Pacquiao.

Everybody trys to hate on Floyd so what let em hate. They say he only fights smaller guys which is ****** because he is champion is 5 diffrent divisions so all he did his whole career was move up in weight. Now he at 147 and if somebody moves up in weight to fight him so what? Floyd is not a big welterweight its not like he picking on small guys thats bull****.

I said it before and i will say it again Pacquiao and Mosley are the only two names that do anything for Floyds legacy. They are the only two established great fighters out of the divison. Williams, Cintron, Bradley and all the others guys are just extra. See nobody knows how good they really are or how good they're going to be. So if Floyd beats any of them and there career goes downhill after then people will say they were never that good to begin with.

and IMO I think he should fight in May vs Mosley....cindo de mayo weekend....HUGE PPV event!! for Mosley's 2 WW belts

clucky always waits until the best opponents have already signed to fight someone else then he comes out the next day vs some complete bum. he really is brilliant at it.

anyways.......Did you read the article? What other big strong WW are available? Dont say Williams because we all know that fight will not happen.

He wants to fight on March 13th and obviously Mosley wont be available. If he fights anyone below 147 he will get crucified....

for the record I think he needs need push his fight date back to May and fight the winner of Berto-Mosley.
Why not fight Cotto? I know more than likely it won't or it can't happen because Cotto is with Top Rank, but at least Floyd could've called Cotto out or just suggested him through Golden Boy.

Floyd simply needs to grow a pair and fight a top WW, period!! It's been 3 yrs.

You can have all the talent you want, but it doesn't mean **** if your not fighting other top quality opposition, period!

Why isn't he willing to fight the Berto / Mosley winner? WHY?

Bradley and Cintron are the only viable opponents on his short selective list, In reality P.Williams, Sergio Martinez, or Shane Mosley would be monumental, but then again that requires a pair of balls and a full heart.

Not the only fight that would matter, but pretty good choice considering floyd would much rather fight lightweights!!
