Marquez is hands down my favorite fighter but let me say this, Pacquiao is not afraid of him. On top of that, Marquez was an idiot to go along with the Olympic style drug testing demands. If he really wanted that fight he wouldn't care. In my opinion, he just turned down the biggest payday he could get besides the Mayweather fight and the purse split would have to have been 60-40 in favor of Pacquiao due to the fact that he is the bigger star and the bigger draw. Aside from that, however controversial the decisions were, Pacquiao also has the 2 wins in his favor.

I like JMM, but man he's got to cut this bull**** out. This is twice now he's priced himself out. Asking for 50/50 and then the drug test was basically JMM saying I don't want the fight. Not a case of Manny being scared to fight JMM.

Marquez asking for 50/50 is not reasonable. But he does have two matches against Pac which are disputed by some. Both fights could have gone either way. Pac is not gonna fight any counterpuncher or a fighter that can move and hit.

i dont believe for one second that was jmms request even a 25% split would be a huge payday, that was gbp thing to save face on the mayweather fight however if anyone should get 50% against manny its jmm and only him because of the history that is there. they fought 2 great fights and both have solid cases to say they won unlike everyone else,no other fighter shares that distinction, it bothers me that people **** all over jmm like that, who are they kidding?, history like that just doesnt go away.its like denyyin the civil war or some **** like that, it happened.

I don't think it's fear, but somewhere deep down inside he sees something in Marquez that he cannot overcome. Marquez has too much will and heart, maybe more so than he. His eyes and demeanor after both those fights told the tale, much like Pwill after the Martinez fight, he knew he'd been conquered.
