Reasonable Boxing Fan: "True that Oscar moved and decided not to engage Tito for the last 4 rounds. Yet can you explain how Tito looked so lost and thoroughly outclassed in the first 8 rounds?

Tito Fan: "Tito tried to hit Oscar, but Oscar would just hit and move...it's not Tito's fault that Oscar was moving around the ring."

Reasonable Boxing Fan "Hmmmm..that sounds like Oscar was selective with his punches and using a strategy to neutralize Tito's one dimensional style. This is boxing after all right?"

Tito Fan: Uh..uh... BUT OSCAR RAN!!!!

Reasonable Boxing Fan: Okay whatever, nice trying to have an analytical and reasoned conversation about the fight with you. You suck... Tito did nothing to WIN the fight. Cong****, and enjoy your GOD.

actually all i saw oscar do was love tap tito. the punches were not effective at all. the times that tito did hit oscar they were more powerful. personally i thought tito won more rounds even though oscar seemed to throw 4 times as many yet non effective love taps. then oscar ran for the last four rounds.

Hey, that's all good but that response is atypical of biased Tito fans. That little role play is actually how most conversations with them go. Yet, i don't buy the love tap argument. DLH outlanded him and hit him with combos instead of one punch at a time...no matter how "lovey" you may have thought they were. Yet, i respect your opinion.

actually i always argued that it was a real one sided fight back in the day. I saw it over recently w/o volume cause for some reason it went away, and i saw it was a pretty close fight. The first 4 rounds i had it even then oscar beat tito most of the middle rounds, but only the 5 6 and 10 i think was where oscar was really dominating. I also the the last few rounds where Oscar ran not as bad as i thought, if you watch it with no volume you can see Oscar didnt really ran like people said. The only round was the 11 where i thought oscar didnt do anything but move around. Also i scored the 12 the same way one of the judges did giving it to Oscar. I had it Oscar winning 8 - 4. There were 1 or 2 rounds that could have gone either way and 3 rounds that oscar just out classes him. Im not sure i posted a big thread about it a while back that had my official score and some round by round analysies ima try to find

Look.....DeLaHoya-Trinidad was a night not worth reviewing. In one of the biggest fights ever, both fell short.

i just saw the fight again, i havent seen it since it happened. I thought (probably cause i was a huge oscar fan instead of a boxing fan) that oscar dominated the whole fight except for the last 3 rounds. I had it oscar winning by 4 rounds 116 to 112. I had to see the fight with no volume cause for some reason it died on me, so i couldnt judge from the sounds of the gloves connecting, which some judges do. Also the whole running from oscar in the last rounds didnt look so much with the volume off, the only round i though oscar ran flat out riduculous was the 11 he just didnt do anything (im not saying he didnt ran in the 10 but the 11 was wow). And for some reason (i must be on crack) but i agreed with one of the judges and gave oscar the 12 round.

4th round with .55 seconds on the clock Tito hit Oscar with a strong left hook that i thought was going to kill him

5th and 6th rounds i thought Oscar just beat the crap out of Tito. The 9th i thought oscar dominated as well but not so bad.

12th i thought oscar won , i know nobody agrees.

also the 1st through 4th i didnt think Oscar dominated like the announcers experts thought he did.

besides the 5th 6th 9th (which i thought oscar dominated) and the 10th and 11th (which Tito dominated since oscar didnt fight) i thought it was a even fight
