you are the definition of what is wrong with NSB. Floyd trains, works hard, and stays in shape all year long.
The amount of times you fight a year is not necessarily a factor in regards to your work ethic.

Pac's opening will give clottey plenty of chances to counter & this will be a surprisingly entertaining fight. This is clottey's first big chance at the big time, he knows about the criticism about his lack of killer instinct. He will be in the best shape of his life & he will make it more difficult for pac compared to cotto.

Clottey will engage more & it will be a entertaining fight.

Good post, I feel this is no easy fight for Manny and I think this fight is a harder fight than the Cotto fight.

I wonder how much Clottey will weigh on the night of the fight & will that play a part in the fight?

Also if Pacquiao were to knock out the durable Clottey would that make you go?

Clottey is coming off a loss and he is the best opponent for Pac?
Get your head out of your ass.
Williams, Berto, and Mosley are not available for March 13. Don't know about Bradley though. Regardless, why would you not consider Clottey. Do you think Campbell or Mathew Hatton are better options?

Who says they are noy available for the 13th? Why does Manny have to fight on the 13th?

Because after his fight he will go on an election campaign up to the election month which is May. Unlike Floyd who flaunts his money in a bar and have a stand off with some dude if he's not fighting.

If pac makes clottey fight at a catchweight he deserves to be criticized. The fact that the mainstream are still mad about pac vs may not happening they should eliminate any opening for criticism & fight clottey at 147.

One other factor--From everything I've read, at this point in his career Pac needs that extra motivation to get up for fights and bust his ass in training.

Against Hatton, it was the record 4th lineal title and shutting Floyd, Sr.'s loud mouth.

Against Cotto, it was the record 7th title in seven weight divisions.

Against Clottey? There's really nothing historical he would be fighting for. I'm wondering if that won't factor in to how hard Pac does (or doesn't) train.

Not making a pre-made excuse, just laying out another possible advantage for Clottey--Pac may not take the fight as seriously as his recent fights since there isn't any boxing history that can be made with this fight.

Of course this all assumes the fight is at 147. If it's at 145 then **** Pac and **** everything I just said.
