what would be the scenario if berto beats shane?

what would the welterweight landscape look like?

u think shane retires? or PBF finally fights him? or go to top rank to get a shot @ MP?

what about berto? where does he go from that point? do u feel PBF fights him?

    any thoughts?

If Shane looses he won't retire... he will still be begging Pac and May for paydays... just that he has no reason anymore to call himself the best WW... if he looses probably Pac will fight him down the road if May-Pac doesn't happen. But he would be pretty much back to where he was before Margarito and probably has to fight a guy like P-Will... if he wants to get a shot at Pac or May... P-Will already said they are willing to take Mosley by his word that he fights everybody at Welter.

If he wins... Mayweather should fight him in the summer and make clear that every path to Pacquiao goes through him.

If Berto wins... right now because of the before mentioned ties from Haymon to Floyd and Berto... and I also think they are both friends... I don't know if either one of them wants to fight each other.

I think Berto would be taken by Pacquiao. Even though he looks like a beast he is not a big welter... his camp even thought about letting him compete at 140.

      good assessment...

u think P-WILL can still boil down to 147 & be effective against the elites there?

I don't know... I think through his size he will have a shot against every Welter... it's hard to overcome a guy that big and then he has a long azz reach as well...

I really want to see how Shane fights against Berto... the Margarito fight was great because of his coach. Shane was always physical very gifted but had very low boxing intelligence... against Margarito he knew what to do... he knew what to throw etc. It was against Margarito who is slow and not the most skilled so I will wait how he fights against Berto. If he shows the same ring intelligence against Berto and executes well... I even think that the new Shane can beat Williams... the old Shane would have lost on points about 8-4 or 9-3 probably... but with a gameplan I would give him a shot...

Everybody else at WW doesn't have a chance against Williams because of size... I give Mayweather a shot but this will never happen... I like Floyd but I'm also realistic *loooooooooooooooooool*

Winner of Pac-Clottey fights Berto, Floyd fights Shane. If Pac-Mayweather actually happens, then Shane will be left to twist in the wind and Berto probably fights the winner of Pac-Mayweather.

I'd love to see Berto take this. He would be among the elite if he could pull it off. He'd definitely get a huge fight after it...

I think a 147 Pound Williams is THEE Elite WW.

He has no problems with 147 and walks around 150-155 Pounds...Just like Floyd.

He beats Berto, Mosley, Cotto, Pac and Floyd IMO.
