I'm still pissed that Pac didnt accept the drug test but I can understand why and defend it.

But as a Pac-Fan I can not will not defend Pac fighting Clottey at a catchweight.

Do any other Pac-Fans feel the same.

I don't like it cuz it's pointless and just something for people to nitpick at.

But this is what I told you all a long time ago... fighters are the same... and if they reached the gold status and you showed them what they can do with it... you will have a problem... there are differences here and there... but they are all the same at the core. And fighters who have that status have worked hard for.

I can't blame Pacquiao for it because everybody tries to win the match before it even starts... and Clottey will do everything you take advantage of it... it's normal... Mayweather does it... Pacquiao does it... DLH did it... Leonard did it...

The only thing that's get a little damage is his warrior kind of mentality that he was portrayed for... but he will fight hard in the fight.

I agree though... that if he fights him at 145... he could also go down to 140 and fights guys like Bradley... if WW is too big for him... which is acceptable to me

I wouldn't be pissed, but i certainly would be disappointed.

He's more than capable of competing at the WW limit

I'll reserve opinions until it is actually said the fight is at a catchweight. Right now it is all speculation and everyone actually involved has said it is at 147.

I understand why they fought Cotto at 145. They weren't sure if Pac could handle himself vs a prime WW. I'm not saying I agreed with making it at 145...but I understand.

Now it's different. If Pac fights Clottey at 145, **** Pac. I'll drop his ass like a bad habit.

Forcing Clottey to go down to 145 when he hasn't made weight below 147 in 13 years, that totally sucks for Team Pacquiao.

I'm sure Manny would fight anyone at 147. It's Koncz and Gacal who should be thrown down the Dallas stadium with rocks tied to their necks.

Maybe its just a ploy to buy some more time for a fight with Floyd
that is the fight the world wants and its a fight that needs to happen

He weighed in at 146 pounds against Shamone Alvarez on 2007-12-20, according to boxrec.com. But I completely see & understand your point (he's typically always at exactly 147, or above like 150, etc.).

I don't like the move by team pac because as Splackavellie pointed out, Pac already proved he's a legit 147 pound fighter by beating cotto and taking his best shots.

                    Simply no need for this...

I'm sure their concern is Clottey could weigh in around 170 on fight not, but such is life when fighting big welterweights....
