if matthew hatton's name is ever again brought into the conversation about fighting floyd then boxing is officially a joke. Id rather ricky hatton fight floyd again then matthew hatton fight him.

Its just not right.

      But according to Horus:

Now i have nothing against horus, he is a good guy and he gets his point across well. But, i dont see how as a boxing fan you can think this way.
      Competely miss reading my point.
My point is that for those of us who make the argument that Mayweather can seemly never secure his greatness unless he wins his next fight against his next opponent until he loses Are being ******.

It seems after every Floyd win, there is an excuse followed by a request to do more only to accomplish the right to be called what he already is, A GREAT FIGHTER !!

IMAGINE last year after the Lakers won the championship and instead of giving them their trophy instead we tell them if you win the title next year then you can have the trophy because this year you really didnt have to play anybody to win the title. So if you win it next year then we will call you the champs.

NOW IMAGINE if we did that for 3 straight years!!!!

      THAT IS MY POINT..!!!
Mayweather is passed the point of reaching greatness.
He is at a level now, Where he is redefining the word Great.
So give him his credit, and understand he is at a point now where he is adding on to his legacy not trying to make one.

          Mayweather is GREAT.............

          But Pac is GREATER.....

          Floyd needs to intervene now.

He cant let that little **** fight Clottey, Marg and Mosley-berto winner, then go to 154 and grab a belt.

          Floyd just cant.

IMO it doesnt. Its another smaller fighter that may is fighting. The guy has 11 kos at 140. What is he gonna do at 147?

Pac is a smaller fighter fighting another bigger fighter who has fought the likes of baldomir, margarito, judah, corrales & cotto. IMO choosing bradley does not one up clottey. Its not a bad selection tho.

Ok i'll buy that. But, mayweather is a great fighter but that doesnt mean he should put a hold on his career. If he says he is the best ever he should back it up.

Boxing ain't about K.O's. He's alot more active then Clottey, has the stamina to go 12 on very high activity. He has the hand speed to match Mayweather, overall Bradley has all the tools. Style wise, Bradley is a tougher opponent then Clottey. Clottey is too stationary, constantly on the defensive, doesn't throw much, decent puncher and is known to choke. Bradley one ups Clottey.

The way things are looking Burner, Floyd will allow that. Instead of just getting in the ring and proving he can beat Pacquiao, he chose a different route that will allow Pacquiao to fight opponents he should have fought and grab a belt at 154lbs. Pacquiao will get a 154lbs belt before he retire.
