Why would Mayweather finally fight someone of consequence with 40 Million waitng in the wings.
There will be no duel PPV's on March 13th. Unless Floyd were to fight Shane or Williams, who could really care. A date with Paulie M. would produce ESPN ratings and reduce his negotiating power the next time around.
Floyd would never go near a Joshua Clottey.
So what does Floyd do now? He has painted himself into a deep corner.
If he ducks Shane after January 30th, his stock will go down even lower then it is now.
But then again: the Mayweathers were never very bright to begin with.

**** that. Im a Floyd AND Williams fan.

Beating the guy NO one at 147 wanted to fight ENHANCES his legacy BIG TIME. All the sportswriters agree.

      **** preparations and tune ups..hes 33.....Lets do this ****.

HBO PPV would easily outsell Pacs fight..because people know Floyd is in there with somebody who can beat his ass.

      Hed embrass Quitana.

Williams is ****** to accept an March 13th Date for a Floyd Mayweather fight when he just fought an 1 month ago. He would not be mentally perpared or physically perpared for a fight of this importance. He would spend the whole camp making weight.

Williams walks around at 150 Pounds. Specifically so he can balance staying in between 3 classes.

Making weight is a breeze for him....hes a freak.

This fight would be in April BTW.

you're wrong about margarito,he asked for immediate rematch after his loss and williams instead fought quintana, then after tony won and knew there would be good money he wanted to fight him and tony said he waits his turn, don't forget tony asked for rematch and williams turned him down first

Williams is a nobody, can you get that trough your ****** head?

Fighting Williams is the same as fighting Campbell.

Nope, but Malignaggi is a bigger name and money fight than Williams!

Paul Williams ain't that good for yall to on his *** like some of yall are. Don't get me wrong he's ok but average skills and high work rate doesn't beat PBF. Yall have seen that over and over again. What about that don't yall get??? It would be a good win for PBF but I wouldn't be that impressed. I think Tim Bradley would be the best fight for PBF if he don't want to wait for Mosley.
