Yea but Cotto isn't on the same level on Mayweather as a boxer. Floyd is one of the best boxers all time hands down. I'd even go to say hes in the top 5. If Cotto wouldn't have brawl with Pac it would have been a different fight.

Cotto did what he did for a reason. Because Pacquiao forced him to do it. That's where your logic fails.

Yeah, Mayweather's a better boxer. But Pacquiao won the last time someone started off boxing him. Now we'd get to see if he could do it against a better boxer.
