This is being said without disrepecting, I love Gatti though this is really his time to shine or nothing.
That's a tough call. I think Gatti won't box too long if he loses to Mayweather anyway. I can't see Gatti boxing too much longer even if he wins. The guy has taken some serious beatings, and those have to take a lot out of you. There's no way he's gonna box till he's forty or anything like that. So, even if he lost, I'd probably pay to see him, because there probably won't be too many more in the future.

I think Gatti's chances are pretty slim. There are always major upsets in boxing, so there's no way you can count him out completely, but I think it's pretty unlikely. One thing I've never liked about Gatti, is he seems to lose it when he's going for the KO. He'll hurt a guy, and then he just wails like crazy and misses a lot of punches. He's a little sloppy as a finisher sometimes. If he hurts Mayweather, I don't know if he'll be able to finish him off. If Mayweather gets hurt, he'll go into a shell and Gatti's flailing won't get him anywhere. The only way Gatti can win is if he hits to the body frequently to wear Mayweather down, then hurt him with a big punch and then show a little more control when trying to finish him off.

I think gatti has a great shot of koing Mayweather. Gatti should go to the body but i think Floyd can pull that back fast so i think the face/chin is the best part (where gatti will aim for) that he can go for. I have no doubt the if he catches Floyd flush,PBF may not get up,he has never developed a heart because he's so full of himself and has never been trully tested and dont think he will respond well to it, even if he gets up. Now also if Mayweather goes for a ko at anytime,Gatti should take advantage of it and rush mayweather with punches. Its impossible for mayweather not to get hit atleast once..so gatti should make the punches he lands, count!
I think...no..i know that if gatti goes into late rounds and he's behind,Floyd will have to fight the old gatti in there for the remainder of the fight and i hope gatti can catch him and pull the ultimate Rocky over Apollo win. I mean how can you not atleast a little want to see the big mouth PBF get KTFO by the one man that has the biggest heart that this sport has seen in a very long time. Good luck to both of these..come fight night,i 'll be rotting for Gatti...true its unlikely he will win..but not impossible.

I sure as hell wouldn't bet on it. It's entirely possible but very unlikely.

Gatti is a dead man he has never done good against boxers and Floyd is by far the slickest and beat fighter he has ever faced. He will use his speed and accuarcy and bust Gatti up bad. Tko in 7.

In the past yes..he has not done well againts boxers but Buddy Mcgirt changed his style, thats why he has been able to come back late in his carreer, I like Gatti in this fight if Mayweather get macho and thinks he can fight Gatti he will get laid out..

even if Mayweather wins this one, I think he'll go through hell first. Gatti won't be there looking for one big shot to floor Mayweather. Gatti will use his jab in the beggining and he will get in his left hooks. I'm definitely cheering for Gatti to hurt Mayweather, but Mayweather will be too fast, too slick for Gatti.
