Why Does Luis Collazo Have the Reputation of a Slick Fighter?

I'll never understand this misconception.

There is a difference between a slick fighter and a crafty fighter.

There is nothing slick about Collazo. Collazo gets a hit a ton, what he is is crafty. He knows how to use veteran tactics and above average skills to keep himself in any fight.

I feel like because he's a southpaw and an overachiever people label him as slick. But he's just crafty and tough.
