Will Tyson ever be able to work on a plan "B" I wonder? His style is all alpha male.

You know one of the things the Williams camp worked on? Leaning on Mike. You watch the fight again, he uses all his strength to push Williams off, which lead to all sorts of physical problems for him. If he'd just stepped back it wouldn't have happened that way.

Not saying the fight would have been different, but this small snapshot is symptomatic of what's wrong with Mike's entire style at this stage in his career...

Excellent point. Remember how Don Turner sited one of the reasons Tyson was defeated by Evander was because he pushed him back all night. Tyson could not ( and can not ) fight on the back foot. Tyson being a small fighter for his division doesn`t help this problem. With these super sized Klitsckos and other behemouths Tyson will experience much more of the same if he continues fighting. Being near 40 doesn`t help either!

Yeah, he's just not a "clever" fighter in the same way. The only time I've ever seen Tyson not take centre of ring is when he's losing. Would Tyson really have the humility to try something like the rope-a-dope?

I think Tyson will fight three bums in a row and then step up. Assuming he beats the bums and he will probaly fight Lamon Brewster or James Toney.

Me personally I dont really care about Tyson vs. McBride. I saw him on friday night fights and he is probably the worst heavywight fighter I have seen. I am really curious to see how long it takes Tyson to get back into the ring. It took him about 11 months to take this fight and I know he had surgery, but look how long it took him to fight Entienne. I think that was 11 months also. At his age, or at any age really, there is too much time in between fights. Basically every Tyson fight is a comeback fight because it takes so long for him to fight.

This style of fighter even at the highest level are no good past 30.

              Dempsey, Marciano, Frazier, Tyson.

Tyson is as done as Holyfield, but Mike will fight at a very very low level, if he fought guys like Toney Byrd, klitschko, just like the Lennox fight he would be embarrassed badly.

When a fighter gets like this its not time to cling on and inspire, but instead to encourage retirement ala Evander Holyfield
you wrong about style tyson not a swarmer like the fighters you named..he became a swarmer right when he fought rud****..tyson was a heavyweight duran before that and duran fought to 50
