    fights on saturday (Dec 4)

Good news. Showtime boxing and HBO boxing is at different times (Sho at 9/8ct and Hbo at 10:45/9:45ct) so we should be able to watch both. (That is, if you have both!)

    So the line-up looks like:

Jeremy Williams vs. Samuel Peter (SHO)
Jeff Lacy vs. Omar Sheika (SHO)
Jose Luis Castillo vs. Joel "El Cepillo" Casamayor (SHO)
Jermain Taylor vs. William Joppy (HBO)
plus the rebroadcast of MAB vs. EM for you bastards that didn't buy it! lol

i guess the 3 fights on showtime might take more than 2 hours but close enough.

    sounds good to me!

Saturday shapes up to be a potentially great night in boxing especially for Jermain Taylor. If he is future of the middleweight divison, it is vitally important that he does well against a former world champion. It will be tough, but I believe he will do well and he'll get a UD. As for the super middleweight championship bout Jeff Lacy has gotten better and better everytime out and should get the KO against Sheika(Joe Calzghe beware Lacy will be calling you out soon). In the best fight of the night JLC should be too much for Casamayor, but don't count Casamayor out, he is very capable of pulling the upset. The heavyweight fight will be in the shadow of the other three fights. I'll take Williams by mid to late round TKO.

Let's not forget that on December 3rd ESPN is having a show. The main event will be Guinn-Lyakhovich in a 10 round heavyweight bout. Other fights on the card include...Rocky Juarez vs Guty Espadas Jr and local Minnesota fighter Jason Litzau 12-0 (12 KO) will also appear on the card. Watch out for Litzau because he's a future undisputed champion in the making.

Yeah, why does no one talk about Guinn anymore. He's got just one 'L' which is less than all 4 champs.

I don't think many people think he'll ever be a champion but if he can beat the winner of Barrett-Beck it could turn a few heads.
