You have the nerve to call my post hateful???

You're the 1 calling for a super 6 super 8 super whatever number welterweight tournament.

All i did was bring up the fact that's it's already been in progress the past 2 and a half years. and guess who's not in the tournament at all??? He's sittin back waiting for the tournament to finish and thinks fighting and beating the winner of the tournament will be equal to beating all the guys in the tournament.

Sure, If Muhammed Ali lost and then went on to fight Foreman immediately after that would make sense.

Too bad Ali lost to Frazier in 1971, beat him in 1974, and then fought Foreman so that logic doesn't apply.

I was talking about guys like Jermain Taylor who'll get sparked early and bow out of the tournament because they need time to recover.

If they had brackets instead of a round robin tournament that kind of **** wouldn't happen.

True, I was speaking about Jermain Taylor cases.

Dirrell's fight was close and Kessler had an off night.

Taylor hass gotten sparked 3 times in row.

Imagine a WW Tournament in which someone gets Hatton'd and has to fight another top Welter in their next fight so they end up bowing out.

          That **** is wack.

I think Jermain should retire man.

The guy just doesn't have it anymore mentally to fight any elite SMW's.

He needs to get out while he still has his health.

and he got that by beating who??? a man who wasnt even ranked in the top 20 at welterweight before scoring the upset of a lifetime. And how many times did floyd defend that crown???

Sorry buddy. he neither unified the division nor did he ever defend the crown against a welterweight. He retired....while everyone else has been working towards unification he could have come back to join the tournament better late than never....but instead he's fighting nate campbell or tim bradley or paulie malignaggi. NONE of whom are ranked at all at welterweight.

okay shady---who was the last ww to unify the title then? was baldomir not the ww champion of the? meaning he was the champion of the division---whether or not he was so called "elite" is just a matter of opinion on your part and whoever agrees with you--he was the champion of the division--and zab was the former champion of the division---and how do you know who he's fighting--nothing has even been announced yet---and he did defend the title against a ww--did ricky hatton come in at 147? yes he did albeit from 140--but he was still a ww--and hatton could have fought floyd at 140 back in 2005, but he ducked him, just like shane, just like bob arum in doing with pacman, he did with cotto also back in 2005--oscar ducked floyd until 2007----so, now floyd is back to fight---who knows who he's fighting--nothing is signed and sealed as of yet--he still wants pacman--but pacman doesn't seem to want floyd to fight him---so there you go---
