During the build up to Mayweather Hatton, Ellerbe was asked about Hatton's comments after defeating JLC, when Hatton said "I think you saw more action in these 4 rounds then you saw in Mayweather's whole career". Ellerbe then said "When Hatton made those comments on HBO, Mayweather looked to me and said, make the fucking fight happen".
