I'm not buying the Campbell/Mayweather talk

I see NO benefit for the Mayweather camp in this. Campbell is in no way a name that could benefit the Mayweather camp's agenda. He's not a draw, he doesn't hold any kind of weight within the JWW-WW divisions. He's not really marketable. Even as a tune up, he's not a good win resume or from a business standpoint. There is truly no reason to fight him. At least with Malignaggi, you have a fast talking New Yorker who can sell a fight himself. With Collazo, you have a tough, but tailor made fighter who is Puerto Rican.

But Campbell? Campbell brings nothing to the equation.

Ya but Malignaggi probably has every STD known to man. You could probably get herpes just shaking hands with him so I understand Floyd reticence to fight somebody who dances in women's underwear under the stage name "LEXUS". Allegedly.

Maybe Nate has an upcoming fight and their trying to get his name out? I'm hoping that's the case. I'm not a Mayweather groupie, but I'll feel for his fans if this turns out to be true.

I just can't understand how Nate Campbell comes up at all as an opponent for Floyd Mayweather Jr., maybe it is just getting his name out there for some fight Nate is having soon. It is such an embarrassing possibility for Floyd that it can't be really considered

They should encourage Campbell to use steroids so he has somewhat of a chance however small.
