Pride is sin, or did you not get the memo?

Disgusted. I put faith in Pac, and even to some extent, Mayweather, and they both let me down as a fan.
Pacquiao always had a big ego. What did you expect? He's not all sainty and all that. He's a human being capable of corruption. You seem to be forgetting that he is surrounded by corrupt minded people(e.g Politicians,Advisers,Boxing Promoters) and he wants to get into politics.

He has an entourage for God's sake. People that do the simplest tasks for him. Nevertheless, he's just a human being and despite these negatives, he does his best when fighting in the ring and training for the fight. He doesn't have vices and keeps his body clean. He's a sportsman, not a saint.

I certainly expected him to be more of a voice of reason than he has been. He's just playing at Mayweather's same level now. I thought he was better than that. If he had just called May's bluffs, it wouldn't have given him mental disadvantage or whatever. All he had to do was swallow his pride.

Unless he is really juicing. Then I suppose he did what he had to do to keep his career going. In which case, he has still lost my support anyways.

As for the bold, he does actually claim this. Sainthood. You missed the article, I suppose, of him talking about having a holy visitation and that God told Manny in this vision he would power Manny's arm if Manny was a good boy?

Is all the lying, cheating on his wife, and mountains of pride the behaviour of some holy avatar, or is the whole thing just a crock of ****?

Very very very good point. This shows his lack of care to his fans and even his country to represent how much of a world class athlete he really is.

Those werent over the top demands. I say having a catchweight is much more demanding than taking a blood test two weeks before the fight.

          very good post

What shows a lack of care to his fans and country?

Not succumbing to another fighter's ridiculous demands? Pacquiao has always stated that all he wants to do is give the fans a good show, and his motivation has always been his countrymen.

              Your statement makes no sense.

Maybe not to you. But you aren't him, nor do you know the true details shared between the two camps.

Again, a blood test might be a piece of cake for you, but like I said you aren't a professional athelete, and you aren't him.

Bottom line is that refusing the random blood tests was more about not folding to demands, than it was the actual tests.

I guarantee you if the testing procedures were changed by the athletic commissions and included the same style of testing Team Mayweather demanded, he would take the tests. Bob Arum has even stated this.
