    Jones comeback on the horizon

Roy stated in a recent ********** interview that if the fans want him to come back he will come back, also mentioning that he will be at the light heavyweight limit if he did.

This furthers the proof that Jones is possibly coming back.

    NEWS FLASH
    Jones: Johnson-Tarver a box-off!
Former four-division world champion Roy Jones, Jr. has called the June 18 light heavyweight title rematch between Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver a box-off to determine who will be his most worthy opponent. "If I decide to return to fight again - to right the wrongs - this box-off may decide who my first opponent will be," says Jones. "So I will be watching on June 18." Jones (49-3, 38 KOs) from Pensacola, FL is a former middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight world champion. His last two fights were knockout losses to Tarver (May 15, 2004) and Johnson (September 25, 2004) and he has since been on hiatus from the ring.

It must be so hard for someone like Roy to accept that he's not with the elite anymore.
To be so unbelieavably good, & then become just another fighter, has to be killing him.

People will appreciate Jones alot more after he makes a comeback, that is part of the value of comebacks. I will appreciate him more anyway. He can probably clean out 175, I have a feeling when he comes back he will be awesome as ever.

I think he'll be more appreciated if he stays away.

Awesome as ever? He relied on his reflexes he is 36 his reflexes is going to slow....Jones will tarnish his legacy is he comes back and loses a 3rd time.

Jones has nothing to prove. He should of retired after he beat Johnny. The would of probably inducted him to the boxing hall of fame on that day

Maybe he will adopt a new fighting style not so reliant on doing **** like pulling his head straight back, and grow a beard. He will be good enough to beat Tiozzo or Erdei, and he will fight like a motherf**er against Tarver or Johnson because his pride was hurt bad in taking those KO losses, he will do something, you will see.

roy's got to love boxing again and not come back for the wrong reasons...if he loves it the way he did back at super-middleweight he'll be okay in his comeback...win-lose-or draw. if he comes back because of pride or ego...we may see a man get seriously hurt...permanently.

He will come back because the guy has a huge ego.
