Why would Michael Koncz Make up the 144 thing?

My best guess is it's a bogus report put out there to get a rise out of the public while hyping up the likely showdown between Pac and May.

Why Knocz would possibly make such a public statement and further damage Team Pacquiao's credibility is beyond me. Unless there is a genuine riff in the Team Pacquiao camp with Koncz.

Maybe Koncz isn't aware that having the fight at 144 would be damaging to Pac. Maybe he's to busy sucking Pac's balls to realized that Manny's getting criticized for not taking fights at a catchweight.
