i love cotto man. i have the up-most respect for him as both a person and a fighter. truly wish him and his family nothing but the best, whether that is retiring and enjoying life away from the ring or whatever he believes is best for him.

definitely made puerto rico proud and represented boxing honorably. never ducked an opponent, never backed away from a challenge, never gave excuses for anything. gave it his all in the ring and gave us fans some of the most explosive entertaining fights we've seen.

one of my favorite fighters of all time, no doubt. my support, prayers and good wishes will always be with him.

You gotta love the guy man. He makes no excuses, and just continues to fight. He's had such a terrible year with losing his biggest fight of his career to more importantly losing his father (something you just can't prepare for).

The best scenario for Cotto is he takes a lengthy leave and comes back with a new outlook, focus, and leaving it all in the ring for one last ride.
