      Arum recently said this:

"Arum, however, says Pacquiao has known about the 14 days since Jan. 1 and said he had an email exchange between DuBoef and Pacquiao's advisor, Michael Koncz, that prove that Pacquiao had received the offer and rejected it."

Just last week, Arum said that he was running things through Koncz. It is clear that Koncz knows what is going on and that the 144 number came from somewhere.

can you imagine if we had an article pop up that read something like:

Leonard Ellerbe: Ivan Calderon Will Be Next For Floyd.

im sure every one would be all over this.

because like everyone says, people read into things that they feel will help their cause, its a strawman tactic aimed at prolonging an argument. the thing is, everyone in this thread who is crying now, was believing every single lie arum and roach put out over the last month, so this idea that everyone here reads between the lines and only fact checks what they say is a flatout lie.

this thread is another example of that and the TS is wrong as hell to even perpetuate it. until i see something official i dont care.

another thing, pacman surrounds himself with more ass kisser and complete idiots to rival mike tyson, why the **** does he need all these idiots, i mean were talking people who dont know nothihng about boxing and he keeps them around. sometimes pac , i wonder about dude.

I hope you stick by what you just said. But, i think he'll fight him at 147, but i wouldn't be surprised if Team Pac weight drain yet another opponent.

Why is Pac fighting a guy who struggles to make 147. And where is the 10,000,000 per pound penalty?

We know for a fact that Arum has lied to us. Just last week, the mediator had to unfurl some of Bob's lies.

I don't think that Koncz would just pull the 144 number out of thin air. Has Koncz ben proven to be a liar? Pacquiao trusts him....right?

So, you are asking me to choose between the guy who has lied to me before and the guy who has never lied to me.

                    THE ARTICLE:
Pacquiao is coming off of November's 12th-round knockout of Miguel Cotto, from whom he lifted the WBO welterweight (147 pounds) crown -- one that will be on the line against Clottey.

Like Cotto, who was contracted to come in at a catch weight of 145 pounds, Clottey will be required to weigh-in at no more than 144 pounds, said Koncz.

That could be a huge advantage for Pacquiao, since Clottey is listed to have not been at that size since March of 1997, when he decisioned Mark Ramsey -- a fighter with a record of 13-11-2 -- over eight rounds.

Known to be a big welterweight who has been troubled, at times, with making weight, Clottey has weighed more than 147 pounds for bouts 11 times during his career, twice, at 154.
True, Arum has lied to us before, Roach has as well. However, Clottey's manager said its at 147 too...BUT Someone is not telling the truth, but the truth will soon come out. Is Koncz over there in the Phillipines right now with Pac? Just wondering. Time will tell who is telling the truth on this weight issue, simple as that.

why do people react to every little thing that comes out?

just wait for the official details about the fight when they're announced. would make your life much easier.
