Man its always sad to see Sugar Shane lose, even against my boy Cotto! I remeber the first time i saw Mosley fight WAAAY back, u knew he was Hall bound. Got his career set a few weeks ago and its as good as u remember


I think he isnt actually overlooking Berto, despite that comment. It sounds to me like his driving force/ motivation to shine against Berto, Mosley seems pissed he's been left out in the cold and even this top notch fight hasnt had too much coverage probably due to the two guys he wants to fight most!

But i just like the way Young Berto is carrying himself, not in awe of the legend in front of him at all and saying all the right things while oozing a quiet confidence that comes with being an Undefeated Champion

That's what I was thinking too. But I wonder if Berto can do that for all twelve. We know Shane gets stronger as the fight progresses, but I am not too sure about Berto.

I don't think too many of us are counting him out. Berto has excellent hand speed, and fairly good footwork. At Shane's age it wouldn't be surprising to see him lose to a younger faster fighter. I keep getting the feeling it will be a close fight though.

couldnt agree more. shanes legacy is as strong as anyone in the sport still fighting, and hes taking on nothing but tough oponents.

this fight is easy to promote too, young vs old, undefeated vs battle tested. and its not like berto hasnt fought nobody, hes taken on some tough guys. and now hes stepping up to fight a legend for the first time, this is almost a toss up imo even though i favor mosley slightly. everyone is looking forward to it but it doesnt get any attention.
