        Floyds..
it will be funny to hear the *****s excuses when floyd picks another bum for his next fight. pac scared of floyd give me a break. i feared cotto more than floyd. floyd is the chump of boxing untill he steps up, and all you *****s keep defending him but the question still remains why has he not fought anyone credible for the last 5 years.

154, 10 oz gloves and new blood testing. that is all you need to know about him ducking pac. floyd saw pac demolish hatton oscar and cotto and thought to himself 'hell no' im not fighting this monster.

pac will go down as the best of this era and whenever a fighter ducks another fighter in the future they will say 'oh he pulled a mayweather'.

Just tell me what name is missing?
Pac v Cotto at a catchweight happened during non-retirement.

Now lets look at the rankings in 06 when Floyd fought at ww to begin with.

          May 30, 2006 Ring Magazine

          2 2 254 ANTONIO MARGARITO 33-4 (24)
          3 3 106 ZAB JUDAH 34-4 (25)
          4 4 2 RICKY HATTON 41-0 (30)
          5 5 58 LUIS COLLAZO 26-1 (12)
          6 6 17 ARTURO GATTI 40-7 (31)

          10 10 321 THOMAS DAMGAARD 37-1 (27)
So he faced 3/4 on the top5 he could face.
That + a megafight with Oscar De La Hoya at 154 which gave him gigantic money and gigantic exposure.

Cotto? Dude was still fighting Malignaggi and fighters as such in 140lbs.

The only one that he could have fought and didnt (granted he is allowed to retire if he wants to, noone is cussing out Calzaghe for not fighting Dawson) is Margarito. A fighter managed by Bob Arum who has been proven almost impossible to deal with for Mayweather.
And given what we now know about Margacheato, i dont think we should hold any significant grudge for it.

NOW that Mayweather is back and tuned up i agree, he should fight current topfighters at 147 or 154. If he wont fight Berto/Mosley, Williams, Martinez or Pacquiao(which he tried getting atleast) i will be very disgusted.

I do however feel that a fight vs the likes of Cintron, Quintana or Collazo is fine for a march 13th date. Aslong as he fights any of above mentioned fighters later in the year.

Edit: Oh and he called out Mosley during this time. Mosley declined.

Really? You have a very high standard of what you call exciting so Im surprised that none of those guys is considered "boring" by you. Some of those guys have been in good fights that may not reach your expectations of exciting. Interesting.

floyd will fight whomever lines his pockets better.....whether it's pacquiao, mosley, berto, or somebody you consider a bum, he'll fight whoever's available, that presents the most money.

get over it. this **** is gettin' old.
