Nope. Saw it. The fight was at 145. Manny asked for 143 and Cotto countered with and agreed to 145. Cotto himself said, "I've never felt better". So whose claim holds more "weight"? Cotto's or yours?

Arum said it will be at 147 so hopefully that's true. But, if its not, Manny should drop the title and fight in the lower divisions. If he's defending a title, he should follow the weight rules in the divison and quit getting special treatment.

        Oscar said the same thing.

So if the man himself said the weight wasn't an issue, who is anyone to claim that they were weight-drained?

So a man who IS USED TO FIGHTING AT 147 is forced to fight at 145 "isn't weight drained"? yeah of course he wasn't , Cotto's comments were a little thing called "being happy at getting a payday".

I doubt it will be at 144, it will be at 147. But if there is a contract for 144 and Clottey signs, there's no one to blame but himself.

Of course a boxer is going to say he's not weight-drained. He's not going to say he's weight-drained because people are going to think he's making an excuse.

Go back and watch the opening round of the Manny vs. DLH fight. Roach saw IV marks and blood on DLH's arm and told Manny to pressure DLH right away. You can also find the video on YouTube were Roach talks about it.

they're both Top rank fighters, that's why it wasn't an issue. I think it won't be an issue against Cottey as well. Bob Arum can do whatever he wants with his fighters, he wants to push everyone around. I'm glad GBP are not going to bend over for this ******* in the future. Bob Arum, if you want Manny to fight any GBP fighters other than Mosley, random testing will be required or fight someone else.
