What is Floyd Mayweather Jr. with 1 defeat?

A lot of the GREATS have defeats in their record - Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Roberto Duran, Ray Leonard, Marvin Haggler, Thomas Hearns, etc...

If Floyd will eventually have just one loss in his record...

will he still mark a name in history like those guys?

    will he still be remembered?

what will the people remember him for?

    What do you think?

Honestly, I think it would make him greater. The lost itself wouldn't, but his fear of losing would be gone and he'd be more willing to fight the best competition.

Mayweather thinks that if you lose, you can never be considered the greatest, thats plain ******...Mayweather needs to stop thinking like that because it seems like he's so afraid to lose than 0....he's putting too much emphasis on that 0

I totally agree. I think he is obsessed with two things, money, and losing the zero. I actually think he has a very good chance of beating everyone he has ducked, but his fear holds him. That's my opinion of the man..

So what do you think? Will the man still be remembered or hailed as a GREAT if ever he acquires at least 1 defeat?

Absolutely, he is a brilliant boxer. Even if you don't like him, you have to give him that.

              What do you think?
Depends who gives him the first loss. If its against Pacquiao, Mosley, or Williams it's nothing to be ashamed about. But we do have to consider that his claim to greatness is built on the fact that he is undefeated, not necessarily on who he defeated and how he defeated them.

without his 0 floyd will just be an ordinary, average, boring boxer that no one wants to waste their money to watch him fight.

Do you watch boxing bro? I'm a Pac fan but I can appreciate Mayweather's style. And he's far from average or ordinary.
