I don't think he wants Cintron. After the Hatton fight Merchant asked him on HBO if he would fight Mosley, Margarito or Cintron(then champ) and Mayweather said no. The HBO commentators said they understand him not fighting the bigger guys in the division. I seen the vid on youtube and it is still up.

Well times have changed...Floyd has got to fight a credible opponent if he wants to charge for this fight...a middle weight fight is all I can find considering how 6 of the top ten welters are occupied...he could go fight one of those foreign dudes...but no one knows who the hell they are...

Bring on Mayweather vs Cintron NEXT!!!!

Paul Williams is too dangerous so I don't think Floyd wants that fight, but Cintron is the perfect fight. Floyd HAS to fight a top boxer who weighs more than 140 lbs. Cintron is a top fighter and is also bigger, stronger and got some serious knockout power. A dominating win over Cintron would be a big statement.

Cintron would be a good matchup for Mayweather. He kinda has that ****y confidence like Mayweather, so it would be an interesting fight, to say the least.
