    Power? You'll gain power when you move up in weight. That's simple physics. Power is directly proportional to Mass.

    Speed? That could be relative. Is it possible that he is actually slowing when he moved up but since he is fighting with slower opponents it may seem he is faster?

      You gain overall power....but realtive to the guys in that division it won't have the same effect. Floyd was a much bigger puncher at 130,135 and 140 than he is at 147.........

        Clottey actually has a chin, rock solid and tough. Pac is not KOing Clottey.

          i will not believe until we hear the official details.
          konzc said that in the interview....
          ..and i read somewhere freddie is amenable to 147.
          i'll reserve my comment and conclusion.

          floyd will not retire no matter what...he needs $$$ badly, he can't survive with his present liquidity.
          he will be picking on midgets and class b welters.
          his fans will be there for him no matter what!

          manny most of the time lets his sparmates hit him in the body to toughen up.
          ..and he's got his "thai stick" to make his belly stiff

            true but its not that he is winning its how he is winning like he is going up in weight but he is not out boxing these guys he is trading punches and taking punches like its nothing now i seen him knocked out twice dropped by a jab and rocked by Marquez and now its just like he is untochable its just hard for me to beleave that he got that good and that strong in that little amount of time

              it just doesn't sound right man, I don't see that happening;
              I do recognize his footwork and speed but I's never predict that pacman will TKO clottey;
              I don't see it, he can UD clottey or SD but TKO or KO I doubt it,
              i just know the media, If pacquiao destroys clottey in a vicious fashion,
              he is gonna get alot of questions that he is gonna have to answer;
              and I'm not saying steroids, but somewhere around there......
              especially after all this gossip going on; him not wanting to do the blood test and all
              Team Pac said they will agree with NSAC drug testing whether it be blood and/or urine BUT NOT b-coz Mayweather say so.

              You're old enough you should know this negotiation drama.

                good post guys!! all those points warrants consideration ...

                and I would like to post couple of questions ...

                did floyds punch effect really went down as he went up the weight or he just stopped throwing them the way he used to?

                did floyds punch effect really went down in relation to weight or the effects of having busted fists?

                      ur right but thats because Floyd could out box anyone he is not getting his ass kicked by lightweights one day then knocking out welterweights the next
