that means we get to watch more pacquiao fights cause we all know if pac fought mayweather, there was a good chance he would retire afterwards.
so now that he is fighting clottey, you know we are going to see ATLEAST 2 more pacquiao fights if not more...and you know arum wants to keep pac as long as possible.

i honestly believe the whole pac/mayweather feud is just publicity stunt to build up the fight even more, so when the fight eventually does happen the entire universe is going to want to watch this fight.

This is the highly likely reason.

At the very least, Arum has expressed interest in the fight happening in the fall.

That would give those who anticipated watching the fight live, but unable to see it for whatever reason, more time to prepare and and make arrangements
to catch it live and in technicolor when it is officially announced.
