I think it's safe to say there won't be a doubleheader now as it looks like Top Rank and GBP and Mayweather Promotions want to fill the undercards with their own fighters.

Concerning the thread topic; Pacquiao against Clottey. I will enjoy it. Clottey is tougher than Cotto and I would be wowed to see Pacquiao hurt him. So for me this fight is interesting to see how Pacquiao behaves if he cannot hurt his opponent over a distance fight.

I've seen people say that Clottey does not deserve the fight, because he lost to Cotto. But remember that Clottey is one of the best WW's in the world, and he let the Cotto fight slip from him. Also just because he lost to a great fighter by a narrow margin should not exclude him from a bout with the guy his previous opponent went on to lose to. Because in boxing, is it not right to face the entire crop of the best? Afterall styles make fights.

I think it stands to Pacquiao more if he fights ALL the elite welterweights, and not just one or two who beat the rest of them. Why not take them all on?

As for Floyd, there are few names left who I would like to see him face.
So really, I guess Bradley would be my frontrunner. I don't believe he has to face Williams, but I would be pleasantly surprised if that somehow happened.

In conclusion, I will definitly be tuning in to see Pacquiao-Clottey. And as for Floyd, I will gladly tune in to see this great talent, if he puts it to a real test.

WTF level was Margarito supposed to be on? Margarito was never that good. I don't see why people don't get it. MArgarito was always a unskilled brawler with a high work rate and a good chin that doesn't put you on any high level in boxing. Fighter like Margarito all eventually get KO'ed and Mosley was the one. Its only but for so long fighters like that can constantly take that kind of punishment before they go into a fight and that chin just doesn't take punches like it used to. Margarito is done!!!! Once that chin is gone he is gone and Mosley was the right one at the right time.

I tend to agree with this....when Margarito comes back he will not be the same fighter as before.....Shane brutalised him prob worse than what Marg did to Cotto.........

I don't think it really matters if he was on the level of the guys you name for the simple FACT that he was the champ of the division, the lineal champ, not just a belt holder. Had Floyd not have fought him, he would have "ducked" the champ in the division. So, though he catches alot of mess for it, Floyd did the right thing by fighting and defeating the champ in the division which was Baldomir.

Sadly, lineal doesn't mean much anymore with multiple champions in each division except maybe to those at Ring magazine. I think Cintron and Cotto were champs right around that time. Baldomir was the weakest belt holder in the WW division at the time THAT'S why Fraud fought him, nothing else.

Floyd would get bashed because Marg is either old, washed up, damaged goods, didn't get to cheat this time around etc etc etc.

Something or another will discredit the win for Floyd but I would LOVE to see Mayweather just school that POS.

For real though, I wish PWILL would come down and Mayweather fight him just for the hell of it. Likely? NO, but one can only wish.
