Is Golden Boy Promotions treating Juan Manuel Marquez fairly?

Arum said he reached out to Schaeffer for a possible Pacquiao-Marquez rubber match. Schaeffer demanded a 50-50 split and the same extensive drug tests as Mayweather requested.

Marquez has been wanting a 3rd fight with Pacquiao the last 2 years. Anyone honestly think Marquez made those shocking demands? If Arum really did offer a Pacquiao fight for Marquez , would Schaeffer have sabotaged the talks with those demands if it wasn't for the fact that they're trying to get a Pacquiao fight for Mayweather?

Now I just read that the date they were saving for Marquez will be possibly be given to Mayweather.

How much money would Marquez have made from a Pacquiao rubber match in Cowboy Stadium?

Now a date that is being saved for him is being given away to Mayweather as well?

I think Golden Boy Promotions is screwing Marquez over big time.

Would Marquez already have gotten a big payday rubber match with Pacquiao if Mr. Golden Boy De La Hoya himself hadn't made a fight with Pacquiao himself?

Could we have already seen a Pac-JMM 3 at 135 if it wasn't for De La Hoya and Hatton?

If the 50-50 split and random blood tests were GBP's idea, than hell yes Marquez got screwed over. He's been begging for this fight, so I cant see him messing it up like that by himself.

Hell yah, Marquez went all the way to the Philippines asking pacquiao for a 3rd fight, he even said he would take a 30% split. I believe it was GBP who made those demands.

NO way he is getting screwed. 1st off Floyd is the cash cow so no one in GBP is getting a Pac fight unless he gets it 1st. 2nd, GBP gave JMM a nice pay day with Diaz and then by far his biggest pay day ever in Floyd. Also, guys lose dates all the time. That dont mean nothing. He has plenty of other dates that he can fight on. Most of all what you are missing is that he still has a ton of big money fights out there and guys that he should fight before Pac anyways. If JMM loses to Pac after getting shutout by Floyd then he is done. He's done with big fights and big money. However, he made all the money against Floyd and then can have a big money fight against Hatton, then Khan, and then finish with Pac or something. He has alot of options and good money fights that are better for him right now than Pac.

I'd disagreed with the 50-50 split, but the testing request was priceless. I think Manny Pacquiao won't fight anyone who ask for that type of testing. lol
