When did GBP say Shane is fighting Mayweather? GBP only said they want JMM to fight on May 1st.

Mayweather has been talking about fighting Shane since November of 2009.

I honestly don't think that is going to happen bro... from what I heard is that Schafer few hours ago has said Floyd is going through and fighting on March 13. I don't see Floyd fighting on March and on May... So I don't see the Mosley fight happening in May...

I think since Floyd came back saying he is going to fight the best right? If the PAC fight can't happen on March13th which we all know now it is not happening right? Then why fight some no body on March 13th to keep a date and go against the PAC fight and compete for #'s? I mean it makes some sense to see who is the bigger draw but to me I much rather see Mosley and Mayweather get it on in May 2010. I think better for boxing as a whole. Since we did not get the SUPER FIGHT we all wanted to see in March than give us a SEMI SUPER FIGHT in MAY and have the possibility for the SUPER FIGHT in late 2010.....Lefty

IMO to fight on March 13th is the wrong way to stick it back at Arum... because Mosley or Berto won't be ready at that time... and he has nobody that generates that much interest... on the other hand he said himself that he felt he had still some ring rust... so I can't blame him for staying busy...

But I would have liked the same... fight Mosley or Berto later and blow Pacquiao-Clottey out the water... so you would give it back to them.

But I wanna see who he picks to fight at March 13th first... I hope it's not the GB fighter *lol* Bradley would be best (Bradley is pretty good to fight him as a tune up is gutsy... I think he would be the closest thing to Shane you can find)... Cintron is a real WW with punching power which is respectable too.

Honestly I think if he wants to stay busy then he should fight and you cannot blame him but I would make it a non PPV event and call it what it is a stay busy fight. Take on some no one but a bigger man not a light weight moving up. To me that would be a better option there really is no true solid opponent out there for Floyd tyhat the public is going to want to see him fight on March 13th besides Mosley. Cintron to me is promoted by Dibella and could possibly happen Bradley would be a good fight but I don't want to see Bradley at 147lbs against FMJ he would get slack for that if he beat up on Tim....Lefty
