stepping into the ring for the first time

what is a good way beat a guy who just throws wild punches to knock u out?
i saw the tape of the guy i'll spar with, and he just throws wild punches and pressures the opponent...
since i've never ever boxed before, i do not know an effective way to deal with this type of fighter...
i have the basics so i just need a game plan and know how to execute...
any amateurs or pros, help me out! i'd appreciate it.\
also tell me wut it's like when u step into the ring for the first time!

oh yea...i'm about 130 lbs and the other guy weighs slightly more than me, we about the same height...i have pretty decent power in both hands (at least i think so

The best way to beat wild swinging pressure fighter is to throw straight punches and move away. Start with one punch at a time(preferably jab) and see how he reacts. If you are succesful you can add fast right cross but dont commit to it much just throw quck one-two and move away. Also use angle and pick your spots but only if you know how to do that if you dont know, dont even try. Good luck to you, you will need it.

Also if **** hits the fan and he is better than you are and can switch tactics...well, start pressuring yourself.
The first time i got into the ring i was scared and i forgot what to do and i got hit in the face like 50 times...and I lost.
So this was my first time.

I think the best way to approach someone like that is to work on your lateral movement. You need to practice on side steping him, if he throws a right step to your left if he throws a left step to your right its pretty basic im sure you know that already, you cant just step straight back because then you will eventaully run out of space and he will catch you, and keep your hands up at all time and eyes open dont flinch

When that guy comes in and you have your guard up, lower your head and come in as well for an "unintentional" headbutt into his chin or nose. When he gets cracked and jerks back uppercut his ass. If he blindly throws haymakers stick a forearm into his face and shove him off and try to land a power shot of your own. Inject a couple drops of bleach under the skin of the gloves near the knuckles. It's undetectable and after a couple rounds will squeeze out the hole and onto your opponents face. If anyone does that to you, keep your eyes open until they tear to help flush it out.

The best way to fight a pressure fighter is to fight dirty.

At least you know what he brings to the table. Be smart in there, don't tense yourself 'cause you will tire yourself out. The best thing to do is be very relaxed.
My gameplan would be to counter him with straight punches. If he's a wild puncher just as you described, usually fighters can sense when wild punchers are going to attack....just use a little lateral movement to evade the attack, then counter with a quick 1-2 combo.
And work the body to slow him down, stick the jab in his face, and kick his a*s!

straight flurries as he comes charging in. Also, stand your ground unless he's significantly stronger.

Worst case, jab and hug, jab and huge, jab and hug, all night.
