Naturally.you punch something u should be in pain.Floyd just has more pain than others.FLoyds natural condition right now is to have a **** load of pain when he hits something.xylocaine diminishes that pain for floyd thus giving him an advantage. If you don't see how not being able to feel pain in a boxing match gives that person an advantage then there's no point in discussing this w/you.His natural state is that he can't punch as hard or as he used to.he uses xylocaine so that he can be what he USED to.its llike an old man taking viagra cuz he has a limp ****.he's naturally limp but takes an enhancement so that he can perform again.

put it like this, if youre in the welterweight division, floyd wont fight you...why cant he wait to see who will win in the berto-mosley fight, if he fights the winner, he will gain respect..but if he chooses paulie, matthew,or bradley..then hes returned to boxing to take 2 tune ups in a row..while manny is going from cotto to clottey...lion to lionComment

Do you really think Bradley would considered to be a tune up??put it like this, if youre in the welterweight division, floyd wont fight you...why cant he wait to see who will win in the berto-mosley fight, if he fights the winner, he will gain respect..but if he chooses paulie, matthew,or bradley..then hes returned to boxing to take 2 tune ups in a row..while manny is going from cotto to clottey...lion to lionComment

That last bit is old age. Floyd isn't old. Therefore, that's not natural. That's just worn down. Not natural. Do you see him throw huge bombs? He knows he has to keep them safe, even though he may not be feeling the effect right there. If someone cut your hair, is that natural hair loss? People may feel some pain when punching, but it shouldn't be anything horrific, when wearing gloves, and having hand-wraps.Naturally.you punch something u should be in pain.Floyd just has more pain than others.FLoyds natural condition right now is to have a **** load of pain when he hits something.xylocaine diminishes that pain for floyd thus giving him an advantage.

Huh? http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=24601put it like this, if youre in the welterweight division, floyd wont fight you...why cant he wait to see who will win in the berto-mosley fight, if he fights the winner, he will gain respect..but if he chooses paulie, matthew,or bradley..then hes returned to boxing to take 2 tune ups in a row..while manny is going from cotto to clottey...lion to lion

Mosley expected to win. Even if he somehow does not, it is still not a done deal. And even if it were, and he loses, Mosley should still be rated highly, if he doesn't get old in there. Floyd might be playing it smart due to his bad hands. Drugs or not, but he still has to deal with them out of the ring. Manny took care of Cotto, so he wanted to fight Manny. Since that fell apart, he may get the winner of Mosley and Berto fight. If he ducks the winner, then that's bad for him. Lets wait and see.Comment

actually...
taken from "the straight dope" (www.straightdope.com) in regards to the truth of the famous story of the mom lifting the car off the kid...
The same goes for punchingFrom Ikai and Steinhaus, "Some Factors Modifying the Expression of Human Strength," Journal of Applied Physiology, 1961, ....
...the authors suggest that the normal human inability to exert oneself to one's physiological maximum is the result of "acquired inhibitions that in turn are subject to disinhibition by pure Pavlovian procedures, by anesthetization of inhibitory mechanisms, or by pharmacologically induced symptoms serving as stimuli for disinhibition." In other words, you're always capable of great feats; it just takes a crisis for you to actually perform them.
humans can punch hard enough to shatter our own bones
we just usually don't because of the bio feedback (pain) upon impact
when you anesthetize, you remove this.
so yah, punching under anesthetized conditions means you're going to hit a lot harder.Comment

Are you that really that dumb? or is Chicken Floyd Mayduckers ass is right smack on your face???Man, how else can he fight? Do you see him try to punch extremely hard? Do you think he wants to mess them up more? He's punching normally, which should make it just fine, like there isn't a problem with his hands. Do his opponents feel a harder punch? Is it like putting plaster in there? No! Personally, I wouldn't mind fighting a guy like that.
Without the use of Xylocaine, MayDuckers hands is brittle and useless, He will definitely hurt his hand......and after that he will not punch....he will be dead as a boxer!
That's why mayducker fights in Nevada coz its allowed there........let him fight in other areas where Xylocaine is BANNED and make it an even level fight and he will definitely run around the ring once he hurt his hands!!!
A boxer without the use of his fist should retire!!!Comment

Do you really think MayDucker can still punch without the use of xylocaine???
Do you really think MayDucker can still punch once he hurt his hand in a fight???
A hand with Xylocaine is on PEDs........It is numb and does not feel pain!!!
He can even dump his hands in boiling water without feeling it......but without Xylocaine do you really think Chicken Floyd Mayducker would have the courage to fight, or the guts to still fight once he hurt his hands, or can he still throw a few bombs without it........or can he still use his hurt brittle hands to pot-shot his opponent........can he still jab???..........
But this I can assure you..........HE CAN STILL RUN!!!

um, yeah..floyd hasnt fought a real WW in like..forever..its about time he puts his preety record on the line of fire for a change..pacquiao is facing a guy that can beat him, if floyd wants to match that and take a risk to shut all the critics up, he should call out paul williams, who is the so called "most avoided fighter in boxing"... quintana picked him apart in their first fight by sticking to pure boxing skills, floyd could do the same..they will diss floyd and say why would he make bradley move up in weight when there is 5-6 good opponents for him right where hes at..Comment
