Atlas is never going to give up the name of his source and he's never going to show you the emails.

Why would ESPN fire him? He didn't commit a felony, sleep with someone at ESPN, and he didn't do anything not allowed in his contract.

ESPN is probably happy Atlas made those comments because his comments are giving the network more publicity, press, and views/hits.
