    Common Opponents PPV

    Floyd/DLH: 2.4 million
    Pac/DLH: 1.4 million

    Floyd/Hatton: 1 million
    Pac/Hatton 800k

    Floyd/Marquez: 1 million
    Pac/Marquez: 525k

Cotto and Mosley did 400 k together and Cotto was the A side of that card. If Mayweather/Mosley does better than Pacquiao/Cotto, Manny will have no choice but to accept a 40 split with the true PPV King

    good stuff...

and not to mention, BOTH guys are HBO fighters, so HBO WOULDN'T let them both fight head-to-head on the same day......dummies....

pacquiao will be running for office in May, which means he has to fight in march, and what do we get? a fight with clottey, that nobody cares about, and that will flop PPV-wise.

mayweather, on the other hand, is willing to wait two more months, and give everybody a fight that they want to see, against shane mosley, in a fight that would probably double the PPV buys pacquiao-clottey will do.....

    there's only 1 problem tho,

shane will lose to berto this month......

How many ppvs did floyd have under welterweight??? Hell how many ppvs did Floyd even have where he was the A side??? just against Baldomir. and we know how well that did.
Do you know about the game theory and zero sum

Floyd has spent his entire career on HBo for the most part. Pacs non HBO ppvs have horrible numbers. Floyd can claim at the very least that some of Pacs fights werent worth HBO paying for, whereas Mayweathers fights the last 8 years have been on HBO and the last 5 years have been on HBO PPV.

Regardless this whole sharade is ****ing ******. And im dumbing myself down to youre level by even participating in this garbage. **** that.

This would make sense if historcially, Pac outdrew floyd on PPV, but they are almost even with mayweather having a slight edge. Post this **** in the forum designated for this type of pacfan circle jerk.
mayweather-dlh outdrew pac-dlh, by 1 MILLION, there's no way in hell they're almost "even."

Or could be attributed to the fact that HBO couldnt touch it because Top Rank and GBP were goin through a lawsuit for Pacquiao's promotional rights at the time.

Be honest how happy will you be if Floyd does better numbers than Pac in there next fight?

And, How happy will it make you if Floyd gets a 60-40 split in a potential Pac fight?

                    Be honest bro....

If Floyd Mayweather wanted to, he can get the HBO date on March 13th. Him wanting to fight on May 1st is like the big boys lettings the little kids play in the basketball court first.

Bob Arum was also hinting to making it a Top Rank PPV, because he knew damn well if May wanted he could have taken the date on HBO and with no competition neither, Pacquiao-Clottey is not PPV material. Mosley-Mayweather is PPV material.

Ross Greenburg, president of HBO Sports said: “Floyd may mean more to his sport than they (basketball players LeBron James or Kobe Bryant) do to their sport because we don’t have the depth of star power in boxing as they do in those sports.”

                      Enough said.
