Well if it is illegal now in Nevada, then why would he risk of getting caught for using it, when he requested for both he and Pacquiao to be tested randomly?Last edited by Carpe Diem; 01-10-2010, 05:50 PM.Comment

"There wouldve actually been precedence for making such a request. It was revealed prior to his failed middleweight title bid against Bernard Hopkins in 2004 that de la Hoya took Lidocaine, a pain killer deemed illegal by Nevada State Athletic Commission standards, to speed up the healing process for a cut suffered on his hand. Hopkins appeared visibly upset when informed of the news prior to their fight, but didnt seem too bothered by it after stopping him in the ninth round, or joining up with Golden Boy Promotions a few weeks later."

Fraud Gayweather is lucky to get away with it, for now.
excerpt from another article:
"The issue here in Las Vegas has been whether or not lidocaine was permissible. The drug is not on the banned list of the World AntiDoping Agency (Wada), yet it has been ruled illegal by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), under whose authority the contest is being run.
The Hattons concern was that, although NSAC bans the drug, if the urine samples that the boxers are obliged to give afterwards were sent to a Wada-accredited laboratory, then lidocaine might not be tested for.Comment

De La Hoya was given a shot of Lidocaine lidocaine /li·do·caine/ (liŽdo-kan) an anesthetic with sedative, analgesic, and cardiac depressant properties, applied topically in the form of the base or hydrochloride salt as a local anesthetic; also used in the latter form as a

But Marc Ratner, CEO of the commission, said there is no violation as long as De La Hoya informed the commission when he took it and why.
Ratner said a pre-fight urinalysis was done on De La Hoya, and one was to be done post-fight as well. He said Lidocaine, which is topical, goes through the system in 24-48 hours, meaning there should have been none left in De La Hoya's system at fight time.
Dela Hoya was given a shot of lidocaine because he needded stitches. Dumbo! have you been to the hospital?
Ratner was refering to a topical anesthesia, which you can buy at any CVS and Walgreens Dumbo!. Applying topical anesthesia is different from getting a shot of local anesthesia. We all know Fraud has been getting shots of Xylocaine!

Im not seeing Floyds name in there, but maybe that didnt cross your idiotic mind.
Get this... It isnt illegal a week before the fight.. It is tested for directly after every fight. If it were being used for the fight he would have been caught..

You are really that ****ing dumb??
You tried to use DLH's name to say Floyd is guilty? Yes u did.
I posted this for the facts in it..
The facts are::::::::
It is only illegal a the week of the fight. It is tested for after every fight. If Floyd himself used during a fight, he would have tested positive. There is no positive test for Floyd. Need I say more.
I dont know whether to believe you truly are that ******, or you just cant accept it.Comment
