First, what's the deal with some emails that Pacquiao's team sent to Mayweather Jr.'s team wanting to know about what will the penalty be if Pacquiao did indeed test positive and, if there was any way to keep it a secret? I'm currently on the east coast and it's buzzing about these emails. The sources seem to be reliable also. If these emails were indeed sent to Mayweather Jr., then certainly he has reason to believe and stand firm on his testing protocols. I also think some one from team Pacquiao, other then Bob Arum needs to address these emails accusations asap. We all know he is going to deny them and say, "they were completely fabricated and untrue!"
Second, was I the only one wondering why Cotto Sr. (God Bless his soul) didn't have a cell phone handy of his own? Not that it would have matter, because it probably wouldn't have, but I kept saying to myself over and over again how much more time he could have saved himself had he had a cell phone handy. Then I started to ask myself why he didn't, considering how accessible they are and his status and money access. I'm sure the car he was in was top notch. What do you guys think? Rest in peace Don Cotto.
And finally, was it me, or is it me, but the last time I seen Chris Arreola and Matt Korobov fight they resembled an overweight, heavyweight version of Johnny Tapia, and a smaller version of Vassily Jirov? I'm talking looks here and not style or technique because, let's face it, if Arreola was half as good as Johnny Tapia he would already be champion. And if Jirov had a little more skill with his sheer aggression, like Korobov, he could have lived up more to his expectations and actually achieved more then he actually did. Guys?
