This move is kind of tricky, if I'm Mayweather, I would pick a lesser opponent. He's being drawn by Golden Boy to take a fight and risk losing, coz' winning means some pay day for Golden Boy, losing makes a huge pay day for Golden Boy to set up something with Manny! Schaefer just said, this would shut up critics that says mayweather is a coward, he's being tricked to taking this fight!

if this fight gets made, mayweather gets all the respect in the world from me. the marquez fight was a complete farse. mayweather is putting a lot at risk by fighting mosley, but mosley needs the money so he'd do anything right now. if he loses, there goes any leverage he had in talks with pacquiao. if he wins, it doesnt exactly give him more leverage but at least earns some respect from the fans and media.
