Now that Pac has "ducked" (until a later this year when he'll give in to these tests???) Mayweather would look at the next possible "money" fight and that's vs Mosley.

Everyone wants to see that but only if Mosley wins. If he loses nobody wanted to see it and Mosley was old. PWILL will mentioned nonstop as a result.
When Mayweather "called out" Mosley, it was immediately after Mosley had a tough fight, and Mosley declined, citing 2 things. One was that his front left tooth was LOOSE (not a toothache as many have said ) and he needed to get to his dentist to get it fixed, and two, was that he'd promised to speng time wth his family, and they were going away sonewhere.

He said that he'd be happy to ave the fight a little later (paraphrasing).

My own opinion id that he just wanted some free time, and was taken by surprise at the question of an imminent fight with the " top guy".

Pac was given Cotto, a guy who beat Mosley, or Mosley, a guy who beat a guy (Margarito) who beat Cotto. Anyone can see that Cotto was the better of the two, both Mosley and Margarito. He beat Mosley. He should've beat Margarito, if not for the cement gloves. Cotto is an elite fighter. I would say, right next to Mosley, as the number 1 welterweight before Pac came in the picture. I'd still consider Mosley number 1a, seeing as he's a proven fighter against top welterweights. I see Berto as a hard fight. Mayweather, since I stand corrected, and you are not a nuthugger, is another story.

I think Pac will fight Mosley eventually. And definitely fight a winning Mosley before Mayweather ever will.

Mosley wins, Mayweather is not fighting him. That is for damn sure.
      Mayweather has been at the welterweight limit since 2005, when he faced Sharmbe Mitchell, since that time in a span of 5 years, he has not faced;

      1)Shane Mosley
      2)Paul Williams
      3)Miguel Cotto
      4) Clottey
      5) Margarito

What do all these fighters have in common? At different points all were ranked among the top of their respective division. All of the fighters on this list have at one point or another faced another who was on this list.

Mayweather the number one ranked fighter/welterweight in the world, has yet to fight any one of them, in a division which he has called home for five years. These are facts are indisputable.
Forget about Matthew Hatton, why not just fight someone like Tim Bradley rather than Matthew Hatton, who Mayweather will have an advantage over anyway (which is how he picks and chooses his fights anyway).

I disagree.....whilst Shane has more power.....floyd has a clear edge in stamina, footwork, defense and overall skills......go watch the JMM post match....when Shane steps into the ring and has a go @ Floyd...Ellerbe is laughing his ass off like he knows something we don't and is enjoying the free hype.....i think they made the decision to fight Shane before Floyd came back.....i don't think he wanted him this early...

To me this was Floyd comeback plan

          1. Beat JMM---> hype for Pac is through the roof. Though i think they were hoping Cotto would beat Pac and the fight would be late 2010

          2. Go to UK and slap Matt Hatton around for 12 rds

          3. May vs PAc in Sep or Nov 2010

          4. 2011----> Saul Alvarez in Mexico

          5. Finish with a SSM fight and ride off into the sunset....

When he came out with that hitlist .....business and legacy wise this is how i envisioned it would look....

It might be fine if he was to then go chill, but he had to TRAIN FOR AN ELITE FIGHTER! He needed his focus! Is this so hard to comprehend?
And I read (believe it was posted on this site also) that some experts said it's very difficult to detect PED's with urine tests so what? I just don't buy this Mentally drained ****...it takes a few minutes to get blood drawn, plenty of time to relax before he continues to train. Floyd would be taking the same test while he would be TRAINING FOR AN ELITE FIGHTER!!!

Are you serious? Making JMM move up 2 weight classes only to cheat on the scales, then hes going to fight Hattons bum brother, wont fight pac ever, another bum who no one knows saul alvarez, then wait til shane mosley is 40 so he knows he can beat him? How is that impressive? that is total ***** moves all around

                • No more quacking for Floyd?

Great. But given Floyd's track record at welter, I'll believe this when it happens, and not before.

I'll go with the opinion of experts on this one. Also, if Manny was juicing, then why wouldn't he fight Foreman, who isn't THAT much bigger, and who isn't a very physical guy? 8th weight title would be pretty neat. Why would Manny reject him, to fight a tough guy like Clottey?

True. Should be a good fight to watch, even though I'm unfamiliar with Berto.
