Oscar didn't have to agree like, like Manny didn't have to agree to fight Foreman at 154. With Cotto, it was pretty much at weight.

He says he'll fight Mosley if he wins, but we all know the Colonel, KFC Mayweather, will find one excuse or another to get out of it. Mayweather will ask for a ridiculous split, despite the fact he holds no title. The deal will not get made.

If, in the small chance, that I am wrong, and he does fight a legitimate welterweight, then he'll make me see him in a slightly better light.

On a positive note---It'd be good for boxing. It would also give him some leverage in future negotiations with Pacman, given that Pacman also wins his next fight. See how unbiased I'm being nut-huggers (icheezy, check hook--thedouchebucket crew).

On a negative note---I think he would be fighting Mosley to avoid the embarrassment in ticket sales and PPV buys if he fought Malignaggi or Hatton as Pac fights Clottey in March. I think its a stunt. I think its nothing more than a ploy. And like I said, the deal will not get made.

So if this is true, and Mayweather is going for Mosley in May, then I'm all for it. There is a high chance Mosley could chop him up and end his so-called legacy in a bloody massacre. But I highly doubt he'd step in the ring with Mosley, knowing Mosley's been wanting to shut Floyd up for the longest time.

Remember these words people: Mayweather will not fight Mosley.

i wouldnt count on pacman or mayweather fiten mosley,however especially mayweather, both these dudes have been pickin their fights, but gayweather will duck even a low risk guy,hes just a plain chicken**** fighter.

That is just a dumb statement , Floyd has never at anytime in his career said he would specifically fight somebody and then turned it down , he said he would fight Pac and if he could not get Pac he would fight Mosley , he busted his balls trying and to get Pac into the ring and Manny want no part of it , so now he is looking at Mosley if he beats Berto , and I will tell you something Floyds beats Mosley .

pacman is a juicehead that its becomeing clearer and clearer, if mayweather does fight mosley, it would put anything pacman does to shame as pacman hasnt fought an elite guy since jmm.or anyone of mosleys caliber for that matter.
