All Arum is saying of late is in the near future.... They are looking at anyone other than Mayweather right now. They don't want to make this happen right now. They want to go to court and talk about fighting Clottey who "lost" to Cotto who lost to Pac himself. Point of the fight? Its anyone but Mayweather and for a hell of a lot less money and it wont do anything for his legacy other than add a name to it. If Mayweather had picked to fight Clottey people would be in outrage. Actually I think no matter who Mayweather picks someone will say he's ducking someone else.

in all these articles, theyre always saying how now everybody that fight manny will request the same thing., especially golden boy fighters.. but they make no suggestion of shane getting tested in the same form..i just dont think floyd will demand that from manny but not from shane..

It would be messed up if Floyd didn't ask for the same testing, especially when it was reported that Shane would want Pac to take the test. Guess we'll see how it plays out

Having the belts brings legitmacy to his welterweight campaign and could force the idea that a fight between him and pac would be for the lineal championship should pac beat clottey. mayweather being a two time welterweight champion does wonders for his resume, infact a fight with mosley erases just about all the hate hes received over the last 5 years, most of it unjust but nontheless its there.

From my understanding is that Collazo is the mandatory for the WBC belt. So I think he gets next crack at it right? That is why I said if Shane wins I see him dropping the belt. It makes no sense to fight Collazo. If Berto wins I see a Collazo rematch happening. But, what do you know about Collazo and the WBC where do they stand in all this?
