    Does Floyd need Manny?

Team Pac are clearly not giving Floyd any advantage, or even considering Floyds test offers (I don't see the fight ever happening unless Team Mayweather drop all their requirements)

And if Pac comes straight out of the Clottey fight, and takes the Berto/Mosley winner there's not many options left for Floyd
If Mosley win's, and if there really was problems between him and Mayweather... I see him taking a more lucrative fight with Pac, leaving Floyd out in the cold

A win over Clottey & Mosley would be a nice send-off for Manny.

In terms of legacy he does, the only great fighter he has beaten is de la hoya and he was on the downward slope when mayweather fought him. Floyd needs to add some great names to his resume to be considered with leonard, hagler, hearns, duran, whitaker, etc. If he doesn't his career will be more comparible to roy jones...great fighter? Yes of course, but there will be a lot of if's, but's and question marks. I think with or without mayweather pacquiao can be mentioned with those guys based on his achievements and talent, floyd can only be compared in terms of the latter.

Veteran has admitted to voting "No" by accident, by the way.

Mosley showed early interest in a Pac fight when he talked about a move to 147... It's a fight Mosley could see himself winning possibly.

A win for Pac against Clottey and then the Berto v Mosely winner all at 147 would catapult him to the upper echelon of all time greats in my eyes.

Think about it. If your resume at WW read:

                    Cotto
DLH (yes, drained and pretty poor but a great name)
                    Clottey
                    Mosely/Berto

You've got wins there over 4 of the best WWs this decade.

Honestly, if Pac could pull that off, noone would even know Mayweather's name.
