How HBO Can Force a Pac-Mayweather Fight

    Or at least push one.

Supposedly, Mayweather Pacquiao are set to fight on different cards and PPV the night of March 13, 2009. There's been speculation as to which side HBO will give the date to, but here's my suggestion:

Give March 13, 2009 to Don King. Obviously King has a relationship with Mayweather Jr. which is good because he will listen to some of his side but there is no way he will take his ranting about drug testing and all that nonsense.

If both sides don't agree, he can have his own card, without Mayweather and Pacquiao, and by this time he's gained so much publicity that without Mayweather and Pacquiao, he'd still get a great matchup and a lot of money generated. They wouldn't want to miss out on that by Mayweather fighting on Golden Boy PPV and Pac on Top Rank PPV.

So I believe Don King is one of the very few men in the world who can save this fight- and boxing.

only problem is Arum hates king more than mayweather. King's involvement will make this 10x worse.

Arum was being sarcastic when he said Don King.

I don't get how HBO can do anything. They aren't putting up the money for this. It's a ppv.

They can show it through HBO PPV but they can't do **** to make it.

don king is no longer relevant.

top rank doesn't need hbo to hold ppv.

they have no choice. it's either pac-clottey or nothing.

arum can do his ppv's without hbo.
