Have any of you seen him fight?

All he can do is punch, his technique overall is atrocious.

If Khan did fight him, I wouldnt be surprised if khan beat him in 3 rounds.

Khans just worried about his chin but he should be able to cruise past maidana because the end of the day, its all about the skills in boxing

Madaina's boxing skills are woeful, he telegraphs his punches ,has no defence with poor head movement which makes him very easy to hit and out box. On the plus side he has serious leverage in his punches,is very determined and at times is unpredictable. Because his boxing skills are so poor he can do some unpredictable stuff and this could catch Khan off guard. He is very preditory and if he gets lucky and gets his fighter going will jump on him and keep on pressing. He has killer instinct. He needs a good trainer and an overhaul of his technique and he would be very dangerous.The fact he has got as far he has got with his skills shows he is a bit of an animal.
Khan's management are very good at hyping the strength of his opponent going into a fight to make the victory look better than it really is and any defeat not as bad. We have seen this with all his fights.Prescott became a world class monster. He did not look that way to me in the Mitchell fightOisin ***an was touted as a dangerous fighter when he was a school teacher bum with the worst right hand I have ever seen. Victory was sold as redemption and a tremendous come back from a defeat showing Khan's legendry character. Kotelnik went from the worst world champion to a very good one when Khan took the fight. Salita the Bagel Boy Bum like journeyman with a padded record was touted as an unbeaten dangerous mandatory and much was made by Team Khan of his high ranking. If you were deaf without having to hear all the hype and just watched his fights you are in a much better position to see what Khan is. But there are a lot of gullible people out there that don't seem to have any real objective discernment.
The stuff in the press about Maidana is designed to make him look better than he really is but there is no doubt he can punch.Personally I feel if Khan fights smart he can pick him apart and win and that is the result I expect to see.
What we are not get from Team Khan is Maidana is a dangerous puncher that can't box for **** and there are a lot better out there than him and so far Warren has fixed it for me to fight a bunch of small has beens and bums and fixed it for me to fight one of the poorest world champions ever who is really a solid journeyman.That is the truth of his career so far and there is nothing wrong with that and is pretty good especially for a 23 year old but please spare me the crap about how magnificent his victories have been. That is total crap.
Maidana will be Khan's most dangerous opponent to date and despite his boxing limitations I will give Khan props IF he just fights him.

oaklandstephen, Thanks for posting that. Watch towards the end and you will see Frank Warren get up and walk out. He seemed really concerned for Khan's welfare didn't he? When the eventual split between Khan and Warren happens watch the slagging off Warren will lay on Khan. I have heard a lot about Warren and Khan direct from a couple of his fighters and some really interesting stuff about how the Kinkelin rematch was "arranged".

Warren didnt walk out - he jumped up to make sure the fight was stopped, in the end Khan couldnt get up anyway. I agree about the rest of your comments.
