Hopkins was 36 in 2001 when he beat Trinidad. That is not old at all.

No he waited until the dominate champs were old then cherry picked as for Pavlik outside of Jermain Taylor who has he beat Calzaghe was a good fighter but if he stepped to Chad Dawson he would walk away with a loss.
