That was obviously all talk just like it was after the Booker fight. And its not like the Brewster vs. Golota winner is going to be ready any time soon. The fight is still 3 weeks away, and I would imagine that there will be some headbutt caused cut or other injury during this fight considering that it is a Golota fight. Byrd needs an opponent for the July date. Its not going to be Wlad or Oquendo, so Toney will hopefully try to get this fight.

I don't know. Toney is slick and he could use his lack of hight as an advantage against VK. He would need to stay away from that big right but he might be able to pull it off. VK isn't that much better of a boxer than Ruiz - he is just alot bigger. I know their styles are way differnt, but really VK is no master boxer. He's a good enough boxer and he uses his size well, Toney on the other hand is a great boxer despite his size and build. The power factor of a Klit Bro is way beyond anything Toney has been in front of before though.
