Yes they are because when you are programmed to think one way its hard to turn that off...no matter what they will box an do nothing else.

when i use to go to the gym regularly, i remember seeing kids come for a couple of months and then stop going.

then hearing about them fighting on the street and winning.

knowing what to do in a fight will likely trump the most anger and enraged individuals out there.
I take and teach karate at 18 so i know what you mean. I know this guy that is Special *in the Special way* and he would come in and do classes and when ever i fought him i never went hard on him at all but he couldn't touch me and he would TRY AND TRY. but then i heard he went to other Karate Dojo's and challenged their instructors and he WON lol Straight G right there.

I box myself, and when you get to the 3-4 fight stage and you have been training seriously for a while it begins to really help out in a streetfight, even if you are at a big size disadvantage.

Like last streetfight I was in, wasn't a big fight, but the guy was a lot bigger and a bit older, he would have weighed about 50-60lbs more, i hit him twice before he could react, he tried to throw back, I ducked a few, then he grabbed me, we fell onto the ground and it was broken up. His eye was swollen up afterwards, I didn't completely kick his ass, but boxing was still a big help, and if I was a little older and heavier, those two shots I nailed him with would have knocked him out cold.

So what do you think a pro fighter will do to a guy?

Yeah, programmed to kick a guy's ass! Boxers aren't robots dude, they won't stand back throwing jabs in a streetfight because that's how they fight in the ring.

I used to box too and I am talking about a pro full time boxer who does nothing else....it would be hard to mentally break the repetition you are programmed with after hours in the gym.

If I was fighting the average guy on FNF, I'd prolly win, I'm not a boxer but I train like an athlete so I would be competitive on a conditioning level. I would not stand and trade that's for sure, I'd see what they have to offer as far as being a close or distance fighter. I'm short so I'd likely get to the inside and hit the body and if they were good, I'd get dirty. Grab the larnax and stick my thumb in to make them drop then kick to the face once or twice and leave, no need to hurt someone.

Might not really happen like that but that would be my plan A; plan B would be to get close, kick to the balls and punch to the throat and then leave...that plan might leave them in a bad spot though (I would not likely fight unless I had no choice like they woud not leave me alone as I would try to walk away first)
