    yeah that's nuts man. he boils down alot for his fights. he's a big dude, and it must be tough burning off that muscle.

          i'm not a boxing expert but i hear long distance running isn't that important

              Your right, I train with an amature boxing team and they would run 5 miles a day and it does little for stamina in the ring.

                interval running is where its at
                i heard pros just run 5-7 miles to be in good shape and keep the weight down

                  I'm not a pro/Am boxer but I run like 12-15 miles per week and that distance running does little for short term stamina. It does keep the weight down, but intense cardio is the way to go for fighting in spurts.
