he's fighting the best P4P in the world. No amount of money can Top Rank offer would do him good than to have a chance to make an upset. If he wins he can very well dump Top Rank and he can be on his own. He can take the money (if that what is you are accusing) and try to win.
Lets be clear here: Clottey is a company man for Top Rank and he is being paid by Bob Arum to lose to Pacquiao.
Pacquiao is way too important of a cash cow for Arum to risk him against a skillful threat like Mayweather or Mosley, so Arum is keeping things in house so he can control the outcome of the fight,,,its a lot like wrestling in that Clottey is just there to job. Pac would win anyway, but if he gets a freakish cut or something, dont be surprised if Clottey magically falls down from a phantom punch.
Matthew Hatton is different though. He is of a different promotional company than Mayweather and he is fighting to avenge his brothers devastating loss. Theres legit drama here! It should be a great match and I look forward to paying 55.49 for the PPV.

Clottey looked good with Margarito, Corrales, Judah and Cotto. Hatton has improved but against much weaker competition.Comment
